We're not a factory. We're a family-owned business that fabricates beautiful butcher block countertops, tabletops, and bar tops — custom-built for your kitchen, bathroom, or bar.
How it all started
It started the way most good things do — out of necessity and a little stubbornness. Years ago, we couldn't find a butcher block that was built the way we thought it should be: thick enough to actually work on, finished with food-safe oils, and made from wood that would age beautifully instead of falling apart.
So The Butcher Block Guy was born — not as a business plan, but as a natural extension of doing what our family loves. We work exclusively with imported hardwoods we trust: Acacia, Hevea, Oak, and Wenge — each chosen for its durability, beauty, and performance in the kitchen.
Every piece that leaves our shop has been touched by family hands from start to finish. We fabricate beautiful, custom kitchen countertops, bathroom countertops, tabletops, and bar tops — built expressly for you, using the imported hardwoods we trust. That's not a marketing line — it's just how we work.

Choosing your wood
We work with imported Acacia, Hevea, Oak, and Wenge — each selected for its grain, character, and performance. No two pieces are identical, and that's exactly the point.
Custom fabrication
Every countertop, tabletop, and bar top is fabricated expressly for you — cut and shaped to your exact dimensions for a perfect fit in your kitchen, bathroom, or bar.
Sanding and finishing
Every surface is hand-sanded to a smooth finish, then treated with your choice of finish. We primarily use Sirca Polyurethane, and also offer beeswax and food-safe oil options.
